About Make/Believe
Make/Believe is now open on the north side of Cedar Rapids. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bringing diverse and accessible art programs to the public. We support a large variety of artistic crafts including but not limited to: Oil, Acrylic, and watercolor paints; pencil, charcoal, and pastel drawing; fiber arts; 2D and 3D digital artwork; laser cutting; embroidery; and 3D printing.
Whether you are in exploring a new craft or are an experienced artist seeking a workplace, we welcome you! $5 gets you access to all our Day Pass activities. A $25 membership is required for higher end equipment such as our laser cutter, 3D printer, and much more!
Our primary mission is to address gaps in the arts within the Cedar Rapids area. We’ve centered our programs around the belief that the arts should be accessible and approachable. For more information, visit the About page.
